Together, the three villages above make up the Township of The North Shore.  The small friendly communities are located along the North Channel of Lake Huron and offer residents and visitors a chance to enjoy some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world.

Each community hosts exquisite walking/hiking trails that give everyone the opportunity to explore and enjoy the many species of birds and wildlife that inhabit the area.  There is the Kennebec Trail in Serpent River, the Wagoosh Trail in Spragge and the Little Lake Bog Trail in Algoma Mills.

With rivers and lakes so readily available and the natural beauty of the area, the tourism sector continues to flourishes.  Restaurants and various types of accommodations are available at resorts, motels and camping sites in the communities.  There is also a fly-in air service that offers an experience of a lifetime for the avid adventure seekers.  A variety of small friendly businesses look forward to meeting the public's needs.

The recreational activities are in abundance during all seasons and each community offers a variety of facilities for everyone to use.  Whether it is the beaches, parks, playgrounds, tennis court or skating rink, there is something for everyone.  The OFSC trails run through our area and offers the avid snowmobiler amply opportunity to visit and explore our communities.

There are scheduled events and festivals that take place through out the year such as the Canada Day Celebrations and the Community Sparkle Event.  We always look forward to seeing friends and enjoy meeting new faces.  So come out and join us for some fun!
